The 2026 campaign runs from October 1 to December 31, 2026. In addition to seniors in Taichung, eligible seniors from Changhua, Nantou, and Miaoli are also invited this year to present their Senior Citizen Love Card at participating senior-friendly businesses in Taichung and enjoy special offers provided by each participating business.

In support of Taichung’s 2026 Seniors Month campaign, Mapleton Motel in Fengyuan has participated as a Senior-Friendly Business for many years, offering special accommodation benefits during the campaign period. Taichung City Senior Citizen Love Card
Changhua County Evergreen Happiness Card
Nantou County Senior Citizen Love Card
Miaoli County Senior Citizen Love Card
The Taichung City Government has expanded the Seniors Month program to include seniors from Taichung, Changhua, Nantou, and Miaoli, allowing eligible seniors from across central Taiwan to enjoy special offers from senior-friendly businesses while traveling in Taichung.
How to Use the Accommodation Offer
When making your reservation, please inform Mapleton Motel in advance that you wish to use the “2026 Seniors Month Offer.” At check-in, please bring the eligible card for verification. This offer is a room-rate discount provided directly by Mapleton Motel. It does not mean that accommodation charges can be paid using the social welfare points associated with the Senior Citizen Love Card. According to the Taichung City Government’s current information, the social welfare points provided through the Senior Citizen Love Card are mainly designated for transportation, medical care, sports, and other specified purposes. Discounts offered by senior-friendly businesses during Seniors Month are separate benefits provided directly by participating businesses.

In 2026, the program continues its cross-county collaboration, allowing seniors from Taichung, Changhua, Nantou, and Miaoli to enjoy senior-friendly environments and special offers at participating businesses in Taichung.
